Thanks for not inviting me." Ichigo says when he walks into Black Ship. "I want to see him." "I don't think you shou-" "Hey Jo can I have some.oh hey I didn't know we were hanging out today. You wanted to see him so bad and now he's not here. "Oh, well, umm." You're at a loss of words. That's why he's not here." Haruki says sadly and looks down. "What?" "We showed him pictures and shared stories but nothing worked. It turns out that he lost his memories of you." Haruki stops and gives you time to process everything he's said so far. We thought he was being his usual self and was being rude by not showing interest. "When Johji told us that you were coming back to town Ichigo seemed unamused about the news. "That's not all, _." Takeshi says seriously. "Anyways, after he regained some of his memory and things got back to normal we thought he was perfectly fine with no more issues." "Oh good-" You begin to say. He remembered me because I was there when the incident happened but it took a while for him to recognize the guys." "It was painful." Ryuzo begins to tear up. He was fine after recovering in the hospital and doing some therapy and treatment to make sure that his motor skills are still proficient." Haruki pauses for a moment and then continues. "Four years ago Ichigo experienced an injury that affected his brain. "You know the situation better than us." Everyone looks at Haruki and waits for him to speak. "Ugh why do I have to break the news to her." Takeshi sounds annoyed. "About the uhh incident." Takeshi whispers. "Tell her what?" Ryuzo says sounding confused. "He couldn't make it? Are you sure?" "Haru, just tell her." Takeshi says. "Hey where's Ichy?" "Ichigo.uhh he c-couldn't make it." Haruki says but you can tell that he's lying. Do you like very different? No, you haven't changed that much and from what you see in front of you these boys haven't either, at least on the inside they haven't. Actually, they all look completely different it's mind boggling. You clear up the confusion with Rihito but even though you've gone over what his actual gender is, you can't quite look at him the same. "You called me Richy when we were younger." "What?! But I thought you were a-" "Heh, a girl." Takeshi chuckles. "It's me Rihito." You tilt your head trying to think. "You don't remember me?" "I'm sorry, should I?" "Oh no." Haruki says trying to hold in his laugh.
"Hi, I'm _! Are you part of the group now?" You great a handsome blonde guy who appears to be a bit younger than you. "Either way, it's been too long." You sigh. "Whatever, it was still a long time." Ryuzo nods to justify himself. "Ryu we're not even 20.it's been 10 years since we've last seen her." Takeshi says.
"Wow it's been like 20 years since we've seen you!" Ryuzo says. "Whoa you look good _." Says Haruki who's cheeks start turning pink. You walk down the stairs and are met with cheerful smiles. Lost in thought Johji is at the bottom of the stairs telling you to come down.
You try to imagine what they look like after 10 years. Their voices are so deep you can't even recognize them. Johji goes downstairs and greets the guys. "What here, you should surprise them." Johji holds up his hands to tell you to stay where you are. I hear some chatter downstairs." Johji heads to the staircase. "It's great to see you again and there's some other people that'll be thrilled to see you." You don't even need to ask Johji who because you know he's referring to your five childhood friends. You catch up a bit and exchange a nice conversation while you unpack and familiarize yourself with his place. "_! How are you doing? It's been ages!" "Hi Johji!" You greet each other and he helps you get settled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You finally arrive to Japan and take a taxi to Black Ship. You'll stay with him for the time being while we get situated." That's what your parents told you at the airport before you left. "Go to Black Ship and you'll meet Johji there. You made friends when you moved away but these boys stay in a special place in your heart. Haruki, Ryuzo, Rihito, Takeshi, and Ichigo your best friends. You haven't been able to keep in touch but you thought of them frequently. After living abroad with your family because your dad revived a great job opportunity that he couldn't refuse, you're anxious to see your friends.
